Sociologist Bart (1930-) received her B.A. (1950), M.A. (1952), and Ph.D. (1967) degrees from U.C.L.A. She has taught sociology, psychology, and women's studies and has written articles for and edited several journals, including the Journal of Health and Social Behavior, Psychology of Women Quarterly, Women and Health, and Chrysalis.
